Vico dinenay na may campaign rally si VP Leni sa Pasig City Hall: Kahit mayor ang mag-apply, di bibigyan ng permit
VIRAL ang tweet ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto para ikorek ang balita tungkol sa naka-schedule na campaign rally ni Vice President Leni Robredo na gaganapin daw sa Pasig City Hall Quadrangle sa Marso 20, 5 p.m..
Marami kasing nakitang poster ni VP Leni na may campaign rally sa Payanig sa Pasig sa nasabing petsa. Nagsalita nga agad si Mayor Vico at sinabing hindi ito totoo.
Sinagot ng alkalde ang Twitter user na si @iamannemay, “Not true. Pasig City Hall premises, including quadrangle, are NOT open for any political rally.
“Kahit mayor ang mag-apply, di bibigyan ng permit. We told those applying for a permit, try the plazas/open streets. They are the biggest spaces available, and open to all candidates,” aniya pa.
Noon pa ay lagi na itong sinasabi ni Mayor Vico na wala siyang ieendorsong kandidato local man o national kahit pa kaanak niya.
Kamakailan lang ay nag-courtesy call ang tiyuhin niyang kumakandidatong Bise Presidente na si Sen. Tito Sotto at ang ka-tandem nitong si Presidential aspirant Ping Lacson.
Nang tanugin si Tito Sen kung ano ang napag-usapan nila ng pamangkin, “The best thing is that we were received. It’s more than enough. It says a thousand words.”
May duda naman na baka hiningi ni Tito Sen ang endorsement ni Mayor Vico sa tandem nila ni Sen. Ping pero hindi sila pinagbigyan ng Ama ng Pasig.
Anyway, dumiretso naman ang Sotto-Lacson tandem sa Pasig City Public Market kung saan ginanap ang campaign rally nila noong Marso 9.
