I feel safe when he’s around.
“Any kind of problem or overthinking kapag sinasabi ko sa kanya, he always gives this logical reason kung bakit ko ba ‘yun nararamdaman.
“Then unti-unti kong naiintindihan ‘yung self ko or whatever I was thinking,” dagdag pang pahayag ni Maris.
Sey naman ni Rico patungkol kay Maris as a partner, “Ang gusto ko kay Maris is she doesn’t even realize it but nakaka-happy ‘yung vibe niya.”
“It’s something that I think is normal to them magkakapatid. ‘Coz I hang out with the sisters also and the family and even with Maris’s mom and parang that’s the vibe there, parang barkada,” dagdag pang chika ng singer-songwriter.
Kapag magkasama raw sila ni Maris, kusang lumalabas ang sense of humor niya at ang pagiging cool bilang dyowa, “Yung positive side ko nalalabas din kasi nakakalimutan ko din na I’m playful pala. There’s a bit of child-like fun in every person and then she brings that out.”
Tungkol naman sa kanilang future as a couple, sabi ni Rico, “Years from now, I hope that the relationship is deeper and richer with so much more memories, music, active projects and stories. And it seems like we’re gonna take everyone on this journey with us kasi parang ganun na.
“Of course, there are things that are sa amin lang and private lang but I’m hoping lang na it’s going to be more fun pa and more stories in the future,” aniya pa.

“We don’t really get to go out as much, like travel. New memories with him.
We were trying to find out, kami ni Maris, sometime ago how it happened.
“Parang little by little lang. Definitely not the first time I met her. Definitely not when we were working on the song and recording,” paglilinaw ng OPM icon.
Based on the book by Noreen Capili, this iWantTFC original mini-series is directed by Derick Cabrido under Dreamscape Entertainment and Clever Minds.
Bibida rin dito sina Angelica Panganiban, JC de Vera, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Barbie Imperial, Elisse Joson, RK Bagatsing, Joshua Colet at Turs Daza.
