MAY mga mahahalagang paalala ang tinaguriang “Father of Philippine Christmas Music” na si
Jose Mari Chan sa lahat ng Filipino tungkol sa pagbibigay ng mga regalo ngayong Pasko.
Muling ipinagdiinan ng award-winning veteran singer-songwriter na hindi lang mga materyal na bagay ang maaaring ipamigay o ipangregalo sa panahon ng kapaskuhan.
Aniya, pinakaimportante pa rin ang pagmamahalan, pagkakaisa at pagpapatawad na siyang tunay na mensahe ng pagse-celebrate ng Christmas.

Sa nakaraang virtual mediacon para sa big christmas sale ng ineendorsong e-commerce platform ni Jose Mari Chan, ang Shopee, natanong siya kung anong advice ang maibibigay niya sa lahat ng Pinoy para mas maging madali ang pagbibigay ng regalo ngayong holiday season.
Tugon ni JMC, “I’ve told my children and grandchildren this, make a mental list of people and friends that you care about. Make a list and then, think about or reflect on the things that they like individually.”
Apat na taon nang brand ambassador ng nasabing online shopping app ang beteranong singer kaya naman aniya, “I feel blessed that, number one, my songs are now associated with this most joyful season of the year. But I feel especially blessed being part of their family.”
Magkakaroon ng bonggang TV special ang nasabing brand sa Nov. 11, 9:30-11:30 p.m. sa GMA 7. The program will also feature local celebrities such as Jessy Mendiola, Aira Bermudez, Rocco Nacino, Klea Pineda, Andre Paras and Gil Cuerva.
Sa huling bahagi ng presscon ni Jose Mari Chan, ibinahagi rin niya ang kanyang Christmas wish this year. Aniya, “Well, my Christmas wish is for this pandemic to end. And I wish that all my countrymen can be protected, health-wise, from this virus.
“Also, my wish is for each one of us to reflect on our priorities in life — to be closer to our families and to have a grateful heart for all the blessings we have received in our life, and to be a cheerful giver,” ang message pa ni JMC para sa sambayanang Filipino.
