BUMUHOS ang mga mensahe ng pagbati para kay Kris Aquino mula sa kanyang mga fans at kaibigang celebrities matapos ang pasabog niyang post sa Instagram kagabi.
Ibinandera na kasi ng Queen of All Media sa buong universe ang engagement nila ni dating Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mel Sarmiento.
Ayon sa TV host-actress, natagpuan na niya ang lalaking maaaring makasama na niya sa panghabangbuhay na tinawag pa niyang best friend at, “the man I said yes to spending the rest of my life with.”
Sabi pa ni Tetay sa kanyang IG post, “Thank you for, as Bimb said, loving me for me, with no agenda, and for being just an overall good and patient man. It’s unreal how much more calm and peaceful I feel now that you’re here.”
Aniya pa, “We agreed, what’s personal shall remain private so hanggang dito lang ang pwede kong ma share. Except I guess to say as much as I am proud to be an Aquino, looking forward na kong maging Sarmiento.”
Hindi man diretsong nabanggit ni Kris kung nag-propose na sa kanya ang dating government official, agad na bumati at nag-congratulate sa kanya ang mga netizens at ilang kaibigan mula sa showbiz.

Sa mga hindi pa nakakaalam, nagsilbi si Sarmiento, 59, bilang kalihim ng DILG sa ilalim ng administration ni former President Noynoy Aquino (September, 2015 to June, 2016).
Dati rin siyang congressman sa first district ng Samar (2010 to 2015) at naging mayor din ng Calbayog City (2001 to 2010).
Dati namang kasal si Kris, 50, sa ex-husband niyang si James Yap at napawalang-bisa ang kanilang civil wedding noong 2012. Biniyayaan sila ng isang anak, ang 14-year-old na ngayong si Bimby.
