Unique pinabulaanan ang mga isyung kumakalat: These imputations are misleading and false
NAGSALITA na ang dating miyembro ng IV of Spades na si Unique Salonga hinggil sa isyung ng pagiging “sexual groomer” at “sexual predator”.
Kumalat sa iba’t ibang social media sites ang screenshots ng naging conversation daw ni Unique at ng biktima nito.
Base sa viral post, nangyari ito taong 2018. 15 years old lang daw ang biktima at minsang naging fan ni Unique noong parte pa ito ng Four of Spades.
Madalas daw siyang pilitin ng singer at songwriter na lumabas at manood ng mga gigs niya ngunit hindi raw siya pumapayag dahil nararamdaman niyang mali.
Sa ngayon ay deleted na ang original post ngunit may mga netizens ang tila nakapag-save at nakapag-screenshot ng post na ito.
Nag-post rin ang ex-girlfriend nito ng billing statement mula sa isang telecom company na hindi pa raw nababayaran ni Unique.
Dagdag pa niya, 2020 pa noong nag-rant siya ukol sa utang ng singer ngunit mag-2022 na pero hindi pa rin ito nababayaran.
Ayon sa kanya, si Unique daw ang may gamit nito kahit na nakapangalan ang billing statement sa kanya. Nagpost rin ito ng convo diumano ng ina ni Unique na si Llewelyn Torralba. Base sa screenshoot, si Llewelyn raw ang magbabayad ng balance sa bill at inaya pa ang dalaga na makipagkita dahil may sasabihin daw ito.
Nananatili namang naka-post ito sa Twitter account ng ex-girlfriend ni Unique.
Ayon naman sa statement na inilabas ni Unique, “misleading and false” daw ang mga ito at ginawa lang upang sirain ang imahe ng singer.
Handa namang gumawa ng legal action ang kampo ni Unique sa mga taong nagpakalat ng isyu laban sa kaniya at naikonsuta na raw niya ito sa kaniyang management company na O/C Records.
Narito ang buong statement ni Unique:
“Recently, statements have been circulated online imputing that I have committed improper activities.
“These imputations are misleading and false, and I will not dignify these scurrilous statements by further discussing or elaborating on them.
“However, it appears that some people are using these statements and propagating them on social media, as a blatant platform to defame me and my reputation.
“I have consulted with O/C Records, my management company, and the consensus is that legal action will be taken should detractors continue to damage my brand & reputation.
“While some of the defamatory statements have since been deleted, every post has been properly documented & collected, and will be submitted to the authorities for investigation.
“With fairness, integrity & due process, the allegations will be addressed in the proper legal forum, to include possible actions for libel and violation of the Cybercrime Law.
“While O/C Records and I respect freedom of expression, the same should be directed towards meaningful discussion and constructive criticism, not used to hurl imputations that harm, cancel & damage people.”
