Dating PNP chief Debold Sinas, itinalagang undersecretary ng Office of the President
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang kontrobersiyal na dating Philippine National Police (PNP) chief na si Debold Sinas bilang Undersecretary ng Office of the President.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
Gayunman, hindi na tinukoy ni Medialdea kung kailan pinirmahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang appointment paper ni Sinas.
Naging kontrobersiyal si Sinas nang magdaos ng mañanita para sa kanyang birthday noong May 2020 kahit na ipinagbabawal pa ang mass gatherings dahil sa ipinatupad na quarantine protocols dahil sa COVID-19.
Hindi rin sumunod si Sinas sa ipinatutupad ng gobyerno na social distancing.
Gayunman, hindi sinibak ni Pangulong Duterte si Sinas at ipinagtanggol pa ang heneral.
