“Let’s talk about Rico Blanco! The former vocalist of the famous Filipino rock band called ‘Rivermaya.’
“There are many secrets about the former Rivermaya frontman. He’s known to be a songwriter, vocalist and musician, he’s also a film and television actor but what we all don’t know is that he has a child with the one and only girl that ruined his life and the one he loved the most.
“I got the clues and have connected them through his songs Balisong, 241 (My Favorite Song), Yugto (stage), Antukin (sleepy) and lastly, Wrecking Ball (a rendition of his own though it’s a song done by Miley Cyrus). Go listen to the songs and there, the message will be revealed.”
“Rico loves KC so much that the song Balisong was dedicated to her. Rico and KC once confirmed that they were dating then at Bali, Indonesia.
“Eventually, they broke up and then came out the song called 241 (My Favorite Song). KC threw a word that she will be going to Italy for something like a vacation or a workshop but the truth is, she was hiding her pregnancy caused by the Rivermaya frontman.”
May bahagi rin sa post tungkol sa pagkawala at pagbabalik ni Rico sa showbiz, “Being hiatus for a year, he came back to the music industry and released a new album containing the hits Yugto which then became controversial.
“A line in the song contains ‘Saksi ang langit sa lahat ng naganap’ or ‘witness the sky all occurred.’
“After Yugto making it to mainstream, then came next Antukin. In the song you can find the lines:
“Iniwan kana ng eroplano
“Okay lang BABY
“Wag kang magbago
“Dito kalang humimbing
“Sa aking piling
Antukin…”
“Rico is a man with great and positive thinking. Rico made his presence felt through his songs by implying a message what he wants to do amidst all the happenings and problems he is facing with his life. Not even one had a hint that these songs were telling us something…there’s a perfect term for that…I guess…the truth?”
“Remember the last lyrics of the song Antukin?
“Gumawa ng lang tayo ng paraan…
“Gumawa na lang tayo ng baby (in a falsetto tone)…
“Gumawa na lang tayo ng paraan…”
“Kinda make sense right?”
