Edward Barber nabinyagan na bilang Christian: God changed my life…
IBINANDERA ng Kapamilya actor-host na si Edward Barber sa social media ang pagbibinyag sa kanya bilang Christian.
Sa pamamagitan ng isang video na ipinost niya sa kanyang Instagram account, masayang ibinalita ng binata na isa na siyang ganap na Kristiyano.
Ayon kay Edward, ito na raw ang pinakamahalaga at pinakamakasaysayang post niya sa social media kung saan ibinahagi nga niya kung paano siya “iniligtas” ng Diyos.
“This will probably forever be my most meaningful post on social media. It’s the testimony I shared when I got baptized just over a week ago.
“God changed my life in ways I never expected, and even in some ways I didn’t initially want, but all of it has led me here. And wherever Christ is, that’s where I want to be,” ang pagpapatotoo ng dating “Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7” housemate.
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Edward, “The same grace and love that was waiting for me waits at the door of anyone who wants it.
“Truth is — a baptism is just an outward expression of an inward confession. And I’m just here to say I tried to do it on my own, but I couldn’t.
“I tried to carry it on my own, but it was too heavy. But through Christ, who walks with me, I can do anything. Not because of my own strength, but through He who strengthens me,” mensahe pa ng ka-loveteam ni Maymay Entrata.
Kamakailan lang, nag-sorry si Edward kay Maymay nang magkausap sila sa last episode ng digital show ng aktor na “Kuwentong Barber.”
Unang humingi ng paumanhin si Maymay sa kanyang mga pagkukulang bilang kaibigan, pero sabi ni Edward sa kanya, “You did nothing wrong. You did everything right. Even when we worked together du’n sa movie, you had my back. You supported me. And thank you for that. Hindi mo alam yung weight na na-lift sa chest ko after hearing those words.”
Sabi pa ng binata, “I’ve made my own mistakes, realizing stuff through failure. It’s one of the reasons why until now there are certain things I have struggles forgiving myself for.
“One of them is putting you in a situation where you got hurt or other people got hurt.
“From the bottom of my heart, I’m really sorry that I allowed you to put in situation like that or you had to go through that,” pahayag ni Edward.
