Geneva balik-trabaho na kahit nagluluksa pa rin sa pagpanaw ng ina: We’re not alone…
NAGLULUKSA pa rin hanggang ngayon ang OPM singer na si Geneva Cruz sa pagpanaw ng kanyang inang si Marilyn Cruz last month nang dahil sa COVID-19.
Ito ang ibinahagi ng singer-actress sa publiko sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram post kamakailan.
“Grief is a journey we must experience after the loss of a loved one. It’s easy to become overwhelmed as we work through the phases of grief, so it’s important to remember to care for ourselves.
“One thing is for sure, ‘We are not alone.’ Pray, talk to a family member or a trusted friend, cry and scream if you need to.
“I express feelings through #music, art, poetry, and writing. Whether you express your grief with a person you trust or let it out in complete privacy, expressing (and accepting) your feelings is the only proper way to honor your grief and begin to work through it,” ang emosyonal na caption ni Geneva sa kanyang IG photo.
Kasunod nito, nagpasalamat din si Geneva sa lahat ng mga netizens na nagpahatid ng suporta at pagmamahal sa kanilang pamilya. May mensahe rin siya sa mga taong dumaranas din ngayon ng matinding lungkot at pangungulila tulad niya.
“To those of you who wrote me on my Facebook page and are going through similar things… Hindi kayo nag-iisa. Hindi tayo nag-iisa.
“We can help each other by talking about our pain and the memories of the loved ones we just lost.
“Kaya natin ito. We still have family members who depend on us, and we can still keep our parents’ dreams alive,” pahayag ni Geneva.
Samantala, ibinalita rin niya na balik-trabaho na rin siya bilang isa sa mga celebrity contestant sa “Your Face Sounds Familiar.” Isinabay na rin niya rito ang pagbati ng Mother’s Day sa madlang pipol.
