Sa wakas, Catriona makakapiling na muli ang magulang sa Australia
MAHIGIT isang taon ding hindi nakita nang personal ni 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray ang mga magulang na nasa Australia dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Bukod sa mahirap kumuha ng mga travel documents dahil sa ipinatutupad na health at safety protocols sa pagbibiyahe sa labas ng bansa, wala ring makuhang available flight noon si Catriona patungong Australia.
Kaya nitong nagdaang Pasko at Bagong Taon ay sumama na lang muna siya sa boyfriend niyang si Sam Milby para dalawin ang magulang nito sa Ohio, USA kung saan doon na rin sila nanatili hanggang Enero, 2021.
At ngayong may biyahe na patungong Australia ay hindi na nagpatumpik-tumpik pa ang ating Miss Universe at kaagad na siyang nagpa-schedule pagkatapos ng ilang beses na cancellation.
Nag-post ang dalaga ng litrato habang nasa loob ng eroplano kung saan kita ang pakpak nito na may caption na, “After countless rescheduled flights, two flight cancelations, swab tests, stress, applications and waiting…I’m finally on my way to see my parents for the first time in one and a half years.
“When I won Miss Universe back in 2018 I made a vow to myself to see my dad at least 4 times a year, but since the pandemic we’ve spent the majority of time apart. I know I’m not alone, as so many families face the same reality in the time of COVID.
“It’s always been a fear of mine, having an older father, of not having enough time with him.
“I don’t want to one day, be full of regret for not having given time to one of the most important people in my life. I’m sooo emotional writing this, my gahd.
“I’m really thankful to my brand and advocacy families, as well as my @cornerstone family for allowing me this time.Wala lang, just wanted to share,” pahayag ng dalaga.
Dugtong pa niyang mensahe, “I’m sending my whole heart to families who are in the same position as mine. Praying that you’ll be together soon.”
Unang nagkomento ang aktres na si Iza Calzado sa post ni Catriona, “Time with your family is priceless. Happy for you, Cat. Safe travels!”
Nagkomento rin ang wifey ni Jay-R na si Mica Javier na may special participation kasama si Sam sa music video nilang “Angel of Mine” na inilabas nu’ng Abril 16, “Be safe Cat! And enjoy time with your dad!”
Mensahe naman sa dalaga ng kanyang fans gamit ang isa niyang official fanpage, “@queencatelle Safe travels Queen. Enjoy your vacation with mama and papa bear.”
