Wanted na Amerikanong sex offender, timbog sa Bohol

Arestado ang isang wanted na Amerikanong sex offender sa Bohol.

Ayon kay Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, nahuli ng mga operatiba ng Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) ang puganteng si Michael Dennis Hartsock, 71-anyos, sa bahagi ng Barangay Ubojan sa Loon.

Inilabas aniya ang mission order laban sa dayuhan kasunod ng kahilingan ng U.S. authorities na maaresto si Hartsock.

Sinabi ni FSU Head Bobby Raquepo na katuwang ng ahensya sa operasyon ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Bohol.

“Hartsock is the subject of a 10-year old Warrant of Arrest issued by the San Joaquin County Superior Criminal Court in California,” ani Raquepo.

Batay sa mga record, nahaharap ang dayuhan sa anim na bilang ng Sexual Contact with Minor.

Sinabi naman ni Morente na isang undocumented alien si Hartsock dahil paso na ang pasaporte nito noong 2017.

“The fugitive is an undocumented and overstaying alien who poses risk to the security and safety of the public, especially of Filipino children,” pahayag ni Morente.

Ipapa-deport aniya ang dayuhan at isasama sa Immigration blacklist upang hindi na makabalik ng Pilipinas.

Sa ngayon, pansamantalang nakakulong si Hartsock sa NBI headquarters sa Bohol habang hinihintay ang paglipat nito sa BI detention center sa Bicutan, Taguig.
