Sa unang araw ng pagkawala ng kanyang daddy Dan ay nag-post siya ng larawang magkasama sila na ang caption at, “You will Always be my one and only Daddy.”
Sinundan pa ito ng litratong nakayakap siya kay Daddy Dan na ang caption ay, “Daddy, how??? Pause.”
Nag-post din ang boyfriend ni Aiko na si Zambales Vice Governor Jay Khonghun ng larawang magkakasama silang tatlo ng daddy Dan ng aktres na may caption na, “I remember the first time I met Tito Dan Castaneda.
“He made me feel so welcome and comfortable right away. Sayang, Mas madami pa sana tayo Bonding Tito. I feel for your Loss Baby Maria Kendra Melendez.
“Bro Angelo, Tita Elsie, Sis Erika, Sis Mikki, Marthena Jickain and Andre, Tito Dan is extremely caring and kind man. He will always be watching over you.”
Habang sinusulat namin ang balitang ito ay muling nag-post si Aiko ng open letter bilang reminder sa sarili at sa buong pamilya niya.
“An Open Letter To myself…
“The Passing of my dad has taught me so many things in life, And I know I will still learn more as days go by… I slept crying and still I woke up crying and while composing this letter, tears just keep rolling down my face.
“I was my kids age about 6 years old when my mom Elsie Castaneda and Daddy Dan Castaneda got married. So basically more than half of my life he was the father I never had, because my Papa Jimi and mom got separated, and he passed away eventually.
“I’m feeling so much Pain now because I know in my heart that if only the” so-called friends” of Dad was just honest enough to tell him their condition. Then our dad might have been alive till now.
“I have been praying, Lord knows how much IM praying to forgive, And to not just point fingers. But if there’s something I know now, I prayed for this, I know there is a lesson that my Dad wants us to all learn from his story.
“He wants us all to take COVID-19 seriously. My Daddy Dan wants us to be extra careful with the people we mingle with. Kahit pa kaibigan mo ‘yan. My Dad was a selfless man He is too good with everyone around him.
“I am a living testimony he treated me as his own flesh and blood. Daddy, You, will be missed! Sobra… And like you always tell me “Be with a man who sees you like how I see you and loves you and your mom.”
“Sabi mo nga ke Jay Khonghun alagaan mo anak ko… ‘Mahal ko yan’… Thank you for being the best lolo to my kids Andre Yllana And Marthena Jickain they are in pain too dad.
“Thank You, Lord Jesus for lending us our dad we truly had a great time with him. I know it’s time for him to be with you para naman he will also experience one great love without limits with you Lord.
“To my brother Angelo Castaneda you and I will be in charge of our family. I admire your strength from Day 1 Dad got sick. To my sisters Michiko Castaneda Bibit and Erika Akiko Castaneda Jacinto we got you covered.
“I know you have your own family but pls know we still got each others back And to our Mother Elsie grabe also the strength you have now mama. We admire you even more now. And to all those sending their fondest memories of our Daddy Dan salamat po nakakagaan sa loob lalo po.
“Lastly! For those who are fighting their chances to live due to Covid-19 we will be praying for all of you. And sa mga wala po Covid -19 pls be mindful. We also have our own family to come home too. Being selfish might cost a life. Be responsible,” ang mahabang paglalahad ng aktres.
