Hepe ng komisyon laban sa korapsyon na si Dante Jimenez, pumanaw na
Pumanaw na si Dante Jimenez, ang chairman of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), sa edad na 68.
Si Jimenez, na siyang founding chairman ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), ay namatay nitong Biyernes dahil sa aortic aneurysm, ayon kay VACC president Arsenio “Boy” Evangelista.
“We ask for your prayers for the eternal repose of a man who devoted his life in the crusade against crime and corruption and for good governance. We will miss him so dearly. May he rest in peace,” ayon sa pahayag ng kanyang pamilya.
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na chairman ng PACC si Jimenez noong Enero 2018. Ang PACC ay may mandatong tulungan ang Pangulo na mag-imbistiga sa mga kasong administratibo na may kaugnayan sa katiwalian sa lahat ng presidential appointees.
Maliban sa pagiging PACC chairman, itinalaga rin si Jimenez bilang co-chairman ng Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs noong Pebrero 2020.
