Sheryn Regis umiiyak na nag-sorry sa anak na nasa US: I know I’m not a perfect mom…
Eighteen na siya this coming February 11 at wala ako.
“It’s too risky for me kasi feeling ko hindi ako ganyan ka-strong sa katawan.
“Yung stopover namin kailangan dalawa talaga before makarating ng Houston, Texas kaya ganoon.
“I’m so sorry, Sweet, I won’t be there. Thank you for understanding. Kung ibang anak ito, ‘Mommy, it’s my 18th birthday and you are not here.’
“She said na, ‘Mommy, it’s fine, it’s fine. I don’t want you to risk your health or whatever.’ Naiintindihan niya ako,” pagbabahagi pa ni Sheryn.
Mensahe pa niya sa anak, “Sweetie, I know I’m not a perfect mom, I’m not always there for you. But always remember that I’m here. It’s really hard for me to be here and you are there and we can not even talk as in like for 24 hours.
“I can not do that because we have a different time zone but I still understand and you understand me, thank you,” sabi pa ng biriterang singer.
There are going to be many more days that you are going to be here with me.”
Because I knew surgery could affect my voice. There’s a patient who had undergone the same procedure and still had no voice even after six months.
“And mine was cancerous so I didn’t care anymore kung mawala ang boses ko as long as I continue to live.
“Buhay ko ang pagkanta so after a month or three weeks, kumanta ako for Sto. Nino. I firmly believed that I would be healed,” pahayag pa ni Sheryn Regis.
