BLACKPINK drone show nakansela dahil umano sa signal jamming

Napilitang kanselahin ang drone display nitong Biyernes bilang kick-off sa darating na livestream concert ng K-pop group na BLACKPINK.

Eto ay matapos magkaroon ng technical glitches 30 minuto bago ang “The Opening Act,” isang serye ng sky light displays gamit ang drones.

Nagsimulang mag-fluctuate ang signal ng Globe at noong una, limang drones ang nawalan ng GPS signal, pagkatapos ay lahat na ng 20 drones sa loob lamang ng anim na minuto.

Nang isa-isang mawalan ng GPS at satellite signals ang drones, napilitan na ang mga organizer na kanselahin ang show.

Ginamit ng mga nabigong fans ang social media para ihayag ang kanilang pagkadismaya.

Isang fan ang nag-post ng, “I was excited to see the drone show, so sad it’s been postponed. This is the second time. Is there any act of sabotage to jam the drones?”

Ito ang unang pagkakataon na nangyari ang naturang insidente sa isang eksperyensadong grupo, lalo na’t ang bawat drone ay may independent GPS function na hindi konektado sa system.

Ayon sa technical report ng drone expert, kung ang isa sa ilang drones ay nawalan ng signal, maaaring ito ay pumalya. Ngunit para mawalan ng GPS at satellite signals ang lahat ng drones, maaaring dahil ito sa kalapit na signal jammer.
