Isabelle lumalaban para sa self-love: Weight doesn’t define your beauty, photoshop does…

NAALARMA ang TV host-actress na si Isabelle Daza sa dami ng nagme-message sa kanyang mga kababaihan tungkol sa nararamdaman nilang insecurities.

Nag-post kasi sa Instagram Story ang dating “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads ng isang litrato ng flower vase na korteng katawan ng tao.

Marami sa kanyang IG followers ang nagkomento na feeling nila hinulma mula sa kanilang katawan ang nasabing vase na siyang pinagmumulan ng kanilang insecurity.
Dahil dito, nag-post ng message si Belle sa social media para mas ma-boost ang self-love at confidence ng mga kababaihang may issue sa kanilang itsura, kulay at timbang.

“Ok the amount of women that messaged me that said this was them is concerning,” simulang pahayag ni Isabelle.
“I’m the first person to joke and say this is a self-portrait. But I want to take this moment to remind you to be kind yourself,” aniya pa.

Ipinagdiinan din ni Isabelle na sana’y matigil na ang body shaming at panglalait ng kapwa sa social media. Naniniwala si Belle na matindi rin ang epekto nito sa mental health ng isang tao.

“You would never say that to your daughter or loved one. So why put yourself and be so cruel to yourself?

“Secondly, weight doesn’t define your beauty. Photoshop and Facetune does. Just kidding!” sabi pa ng actress-host.

Kung matatandaan, isa si Isabelle sa mga celebrities na matapang na naglabas ng saloobin hinggil sa mga epekto ng social media sa issue ng mental health.

Inggit, pressure at selos —  ilan lang yan sa mga negative effect ng socmed sa mga netizens. May mga tao raw kasi na masyado nang nagpapaapekto sa mga nababasa at napapanood nila sa socmed.

“Social media does that to you. It wants you to elicit this FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) in other people. It wants you to make them feel they’re missing out and you’re living your best life.

“In a way, it wants you to make other people jealous or envious. I constantly feel that way. When I look at myself even though I’m living what I would like to say happy life I still feel that jealousy and that envy. Social media puts that pressure on you. To kind of live a better life than someone else than others,” paliwanag ni Isabelle.

Dagdag na mensahe pa ng aktres,  “What I wanted to remind everyone was whatever we tell ourselves is what we believe in. I know it’s hard, but say something nice to yourself.”

Ang huling payo ni Belle sa lahat, ulit-ulitin ang pagsasabi ng words of empowerment “to boost self-confidence and self-love.”
