Grupong nag-party sa beach resort sa Batangas, huli sa videocam

Huli sa video camera ang grupo ng mga beachgoers na nagkakasayan sa isang resort sa San Juan, Batangas sa kabila ng pagbabawal sa mga pagtitipong tulad nito dahil sa coronavirus.

Sa video na ibinigay ng Department of Tourism (DOT), makikita ang mga tao na nagpa-party pa sa Blue Coral Beach Resorts Inc. sa Barangay Laiya.

Makikita sa video na ang mga tao ay walang suot na face mask at face shield at hindi sumusunod sa panuntunan ng social distancing.

Nakapailalim ang lalawigan ng Batangas sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ), kung saan ipinagbabawal ang mga pagtitipon gaya ng birthday at Christmas party.

Kinondena ng DOT ang paglabag na ito.

“The Department of Tourism condemns yet another reckless social gathering organized at a tourism establishment, this time at the Blue Coral Beach Resorts Inc. in Barangay Laiya, San Juan, Batangas,” ayon sa pahayag ng DOT.

“The said mass gathering, documented on video by concerned individuals, shows a large group of individuals partying without face masks, face shields nor observance of physical distancing protocols at the beach of the said resort, which violates the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases for areas under general community quarantine,” ayon sa ahensiya.

Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na may mga paglabag sa panuntunan ng quarantine sa mga lugar na pangturismo.

Noong Nobyembre, inimbistigahan ng mga lokal na opisyal ang isang Halloween party na ginanap sa Boracay island.

Ang resort kung saan idinaos ang naturang party ay iniutos na sarhan, ayon kay Interior Secretary Eduardo Año.
