Pahayag ni Sarah, “I want you to know that you are not ignored.
“Your stories, tears, and anger are heard. I hear it, even if no one else does. I hope I’m shedding some light on the fact that abuse is not always obvious. It’s not always spoken about.
“It’s most often happening in the hands of those you trust. It’s also most often buried — not to be spoken of again — to haunt the victim in thoughts.”
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “Saying it out loud made me realize I didn’t want to be the victim anymore.
“I didn’t want to hide or let it define me no longer. I’ve buried my past for a long time.
“I know I can’t help every single one of you by changing the past, but we can hopefully build a community that will help each other heal. #AkoDin,” lahad pa ng kapatid ni Pia.
Kamakailan, nag-post si Sarah sa IG ng mapait niyang karanasan noon, “A lot of people here… gossip about me and Pia but literally just overshadowed the fact I said I got raped and the fact my mom said I deserved it. This world is a mad place to live in.
“So many pained souls out there… Has anyone thought of how many people are actually getting raped during this pandemic?
“If it helps you ease the pain, let me know what struggle you’re facing and I’ll share. Don’t worry, I’ll keep you anonymous… You are not alone,” aniya pa.
