INIHAYAG ni Pangulong Duterte na mananatili sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ) ang Metro Manila samantalang nasa ilalim pa rin ng Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) ang Cebu City matapos namang ideklarang ipicenter ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
“ECQ, Enhanced Community Quarantine, ito yung pinakamataas kasi marami na ang taong may infection and as a matter of fact we know that the hospitals there are having a hard time coping up. Ang Enhanced Community Quarantine, Cebu City, kayo lang,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang public address.
Epektibo ang bagong klasipikasyon ng mga lugar sa bansa ngayong araw, Hulyo 1 hanggang Hulyo 15, 2020.
Bukod sa NCR, inaprubahan din ni Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) na ilagay sa GCQ ang Talisay City, Minglanilla at Consolacion na pawang nasa Cebu.
Samantala, kabilang naman sa mga lugar na nasa Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) ang mga sumusunod:
Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)- Abra, Baguio City, Ifugao, Kalinga
Region 1-Ilocos Norte, La Union, Pangasinan
Region 2: Cagayan, Isabela
Region 3: Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Angele City
Region 4A: Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Lucena City
Region 4B: Palawan, Puerto Princesa
Region 5: Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Naga City
Region 6: Capiz, Iloilo, Iloilo City, Negros Occidental, Bacolod City
Region 7: Cebu Province, Bohol, Negros Oriental
Region 8: Tacloban City, Western Samar
Region 9: Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur
Region 10: Bukidnon, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Cagayan de Oro
Region 11: Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao City, Davao de Oro
Region 12: Cotobato, South Cotobato
Region 13: Agusan del Norte, Butuan City
BARMM: Lanao del Sur at Maguindanao
“Yung mga hindi ko po nabanggit ay sumasailalim na po sila sa low risk modified general community quarantine,” ayon naman kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
