NANGANGAILANGAN ng 600 personal protective equipment (PPEs) ang Philippine General Hospital araw-araw.
Kaya muling nanawagan si ACT-CIS Rep. Niña Taduran sa pribadong sektor upang magtugunan ang pangangailangang ito.
“The brave UP-PGH frontliners who are at the highest risk of infection need 600 PPEs everyday, and they can not rely on the supply of the government alone. They need our help,” ani Taduran.
“I am asking my fellow lawmakers and the public to continue on helping UP-PGH. They need masks, gloves, gowns, surgical caps, shoe covers, goggles and disinfectants.”
Naka-confine sa PGH ang 71 nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019, 22 pasyente na posibleng nahawa nito.
“Huwag sana tayong mapagod sa pagtulong sa ating healthcare workers dahil hindi rin sila sumusuko sa laban sa Covid-19. Protektahan natin sila hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng ating donasyong PPEs at iba pang kagamitan. Pababain natin ang pagkalat ng impeksyon sa pamamagitan ng pananatili sa bahay at pagpapalakas ng ating resistensya. Kaya natin ang labang ito,” dagdag pa ni Taduran.
