NAGMAHAL ang presyo ng toilet paper sa bansa bunsod ng problema sa supply at demand ngayong panahon ng Covid-19, ayon sa financial comparison platform na Finder.
Base sa kanilang pag-aaral, sinabi ng Finder na tumaas ang presyo ng isang pakete ng apat na rolyo ng toilet paper sa P63.39 mula P53 83.
Sa 90 bansa na kasama sa pag-aaral, pang-anim ang Pilipinas sa may pinakamalaking itinaas.
“With panic buying setting in around the world, a number of common household items have been in short supply. While the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) was quick to announce a price freeze on basic necessities, there are always going to be those that look to capitalize on shortages by driving up the prices,” Ani Angus Kidman, global editor-in-chief ng Finder.
“The jump in the price of toilet paper in the Philippines was well above what we saw in most other countries,” dagdag niya.
