53 degrees celsius heat index naitala sa Butuan City
NAITALA kanina sa Mindanao ang pinakamataas na heat index ngayong tag-init.
Ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration naitala ang 53 degrees Celsius na heat index o alinsangan sa Butuan City alas-2 ng hapon.
Sa Ambulong, Tanauan City at Sangley Point sa Cavite, ay naitala naman sa 51 degrees Celsius alas-2 ng hapon.
Sa Clark, Pampanga, Maasin City, Science City of Muñoz, at NAIA sa Pasay City ay 46 degrees Celsius ang naitala.
“Panganib ang dulot ng 41-54°C na heat index. Posible ang heat cramps at heat exhaustion na maaaring mauwi sa heat stroke kapag tuluy-tuloy ang physical activity,” saad ng PAGASA.
Sa Science Garden sa Quezon City ay naitala naman sa 42 degrees Celsius ang heat index alas-3:50 ng hapon.
