Halos 400 huli sa profiteering, hoarding; mga item na pwedeng i-deliver dinagdagan

HALOS 400 umano ang nahuli sa profiteering at hoarding ngayong may ipinatutupad na quarantine.

Ayon kay Trade Sec. Ramon Lopez marami sa mga nahuli ay resulta ng reklamo na natanggap ng ahensya.

“Yes, tuloy po ang ating monitoring and we are fortunate to have a deputized also the other agencies like the PNP-CIDG and National Bureau of Investigation. Sila po ang ating mga ka-partners sa pagbisita sa mga retailers, wholesalers, checking on possible profiteering and hoarding, at tuloy din iyong pag-monitoring ng mga prices of basic commodities, prime commodities sa mga supermarkets,” ani Lopez.

Nanawagan si Lopez sa publiko na magpatuloy sa pagreport sa kanila ng mga negosyanteng nananamantala sa kanilang hotline 1384.

Sinabi ni Lopez na dinagdagan na rin ang mga items na maaaring bilhin sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng Enhanced Community Quarantine.

“Even under the ECQ, we have expanded the items that can be delivered. Since nag-extend po ang ECQ, we recognized that many of our kababayan will be needing more items beyond the essentials, so we’re going to the next essentials.”

Bukod sa pagkain, disinfectants at iba pang essential products, pinapayagan na rin umano ang pag-deliver ng “hardware products and pet food, and veterinary products, as well as clothing and accessories. So nadadagdag po, pati po housewares, pati na rin po appliances dahil sa kung kailangan i-repair or palitan iyong kanilang mga appliances ay ina-allow po sa delivery mode.”
