Pwede nang uminom ng alak, pero sa bahay lang

IPINAALALA ni Cebu City Police Office chief Col. Josefino Ligan na bawal pa ring uminom ng alak sa kalsada kahit pa niluwagan na ang pinaiiral na liquor ban sa siyudad.

Ani Ligan, roronda ang kanyang nga tauhan para masigurong walang mag-iinuman sa labas.

“The prohibition of the selling [of liquor] in the previous E.O. was removed. In short, stores can now sell liquor. But the consumption of which should be within the confines of their homes,” ani Ligan. “Selling in restaurants in hotels is not allowed yet.”

Dagdag niya, ikukulong at kakasuhan ang mga mahuhuling lumalabag sa modified liquor ban na ipinag-utos ni

Mayor Edgardo Labella kahapon.

Sa EO 73 ni Labella, ipatutupad pa rin ang liquor ban pero maaari nang magbenta ng alak ang mga tindahan sa kondisyon na iinumin ito ng bibili sa loob lang ng bahay.

“Now kung mo gawas sila kung naka inom sila or hubog dakpon nato sila, di gyud sila dapat mo gawas sa ilang balay nga naka inom, adto rasad sila dapat mag pa huwas sa ilang balay,” ani Ligan.

(Now, if you go out of your house drunk you will be arrested, you should not go out of your house once you had a drink already, you should just stay home until you are sober.)

Bawal din, ayon sa opisyal, ang tagayan ng grupo sa labas ng bahay kahit pa may okasyon.

“Dagahn na noun og kaso nga patong sa ilang ulo drink moderately, di pud magpa hubog pa release lang sa stress,” dagdag ni Ligan.

(You will be facing a lot of cases, so drink moderately, don’t drink too much, just enough for you to release the stress.)
