700K job contractual sa gobyerno hiniling i-extend ang trabaho

UMAPELA si Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus Rodriguez sa gobyerno na palawigin ang kontrata ng mga contractual employees hanggang sa katapusan ng taon.

Sumulat si Rodriguez kay Pangulong Duterte para manatili sa kanilang trabaho ang may 700,000 job order o contract-of-service personnel ng gobyerno.

“With the current Covid-19 situation, the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon and lockdowns happening all over the country, it is becoming clear that there is a very strong possibility that the contracts of these employees might not be renewed or extended,” ani Rodriguez.

Ang kontrata ng mga ito ay kadalasan na anim na buwan lamang.

Hiningi umano ng mga miyembro ng Workers of Government Movement sa Cagayan de Oro City ang tulong ni Rodriguez na mapapaso ang mga kontrata sa Hunyo.

“As such, may I endorse their request for the contracts of these workers to be securely extended until Dec. 31, 2020. This will provide security to them in these uncertain times,” dagdag pa ni Rodriguez.

Sinabi ni Rodriguez na kasama ang ipapasuweldo sa mga ito sa budget ng iba’t ibang ahensya.

Maaari rin umanong gamitin ang savings ng mga ahensya upang pasuwelduhin ang mga nabanggit na empleyado kung papayagan ng gobyerno.
