DAPAT umanong gumulong na ang food production ng bansa upang hindi ito maging problema sa mga darating na buwan.
Ayon kay House Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero ang mahalaga na bumalik na sa normal ang crop at rice production, animal production, at iba pang agricultural support activities matapos ang Enhanced Community Quarantine sa Luzon sa Abril 30.
Sa nalalabing araw ng ECQ sinabi ni Romero na dapat ay maging puspusan ang mass testing para mahanap ang mga nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019.
“We must test every probable and suspect case of COVID-19 in every city, town, and province. All of them. No exceptions. No excuses,” ani Romero. “Quarantine beyond May simply cannot be done given the lack of discipline, the extreme necessity of earning income, and the drive to return to normal life even if that normal would be a new one.”
Suportado naman ni Romero ang paggamit ng mga sundalo sa pagtiyak na nasusunod ang panuntunan ng ECQ kaugnay ng mga taong lumalabas ng bahay.
“This is necessary because we have over one hundred thousand violators of the quarantine measures.”
