Animam nakalikom ng pondo para sa ospital sa Bulacan

ITINATAAS talaga ni Jack Animam ang antas ng paglalaro niya kung kinakailangan sa loob ng basketball court. At ganito rin ang ginagawa niya kung sakaling may mangailangan ng tulong niya.
Kaya nang tamaan ng coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic ang kanyang bayan na Malolos sa Bulacan, agad na tumulong si Animam at naglunsad ng fundraising drive para sa medical staff ng Bulacan Medical Center.
Nakita ni Animam, na Southeast Asian Games double gold medalist sa 5×5 at 3×3 basketball tournaments, na kailangan ng staff ng BMC ng personal protective equipment at agad siyang gumawa ng paraan para makatulong.
“BMC is near our home and I saw that a lot of patients come to them so I thought why not make a fundraiser for the frontliners here in Bulacan,” sabi ni Animam.
“It’s just a little help in exchange for their sacrifices.”
Sa kasalukuyan ay nakalikom na si Animam ng P38,500 at patuloy pa siyang tumatanggap ng mga donasyon.
Bilang miyembro ng national team, sinabi ni Animam na may malaki pa siyang responsibilidad maliban sa paglalaro ng basketball.
“Being part of the national team does not mean you only have to do your part on the court, you have to do your part as a Filipino citizen especially if you have a platform you can use,” sabi pa ni Animam.
