DSWD binawi ang advisory sa pag-sosolicit

TINANGGAL ng Department of Social Welfare and Development ang paalala nila na hindi pwedeng basta mag-solicit ng walang permit mula sa kanilang ahensya.

Ayon kay DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao pag-aaralan muli nila ang mga guidelines na ito para mas maging mas responsive sa krisis na kinakaharap ng Pilipinas dulot ng pandemic ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19.

“DSWD took down the post to review the guidelines on public solicitation and make the process more responsive to the emergency situation and harmonize it with the resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force on public solicitation.” aniya.

Pinag-aaralan na ngayon ng ahensya na ang pag-automate ng prosesong ito at pag-waive ng mga fees sa pagkuha ng permit.

Sa ilalim ng Presidential Decree 1564 o Solicitation Permit Law, minandato ang DSDW na mag-regulate ng mga pag-solicit at pagtanggap ng donasyon o kontribusyon para sa mga ‘charitable or public welfare purposes’.
