“The delayed opening in August and September would also give the national and local governments time to work out solutions to make sure every student who should be attending school this year will be able to, despite the economic dislocation resulting from COVID-19.”
“All the education agencies have existing electronic voucher systems. We may need to double or triple the funding for those education vouchers. We could also give food vouchers and transport fare vouchers,” saad ng lady solon. “It would be easy for families in financial distress because of COVID-19 to stop sending their kids to school. Government must assure them that they must keep their kids in school and government will be there to help because it is a must.”
