Official seal ng Kamara gamit sa pagkakalat ng fake news
GINAGAMIT ng isang bogus account ang official seal ng Kamara de Representantes kung saan sinabi nito na nagbabalak na magdeklara ng martial law.
Sinabi ng Kamara na ang official Twitter account ng House of Representatives of the Philippines ay @HouseofRepsPH at wala itong kinalaman sa House of Representatives Secret Files (@house_files).
Nagsasapubliko umano ang @house_files ng mga maling impormasyon kaugnay ng coronavirus disease 2019 na nagdudulot ng panic, pangamba at kalituhan sa publiko.
“These acts clearly violate Republic Act No. 11469, or the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act of 2020 and Republic Act No. 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.”
Nakipag-ugnayan na ang Kamara sa Twitter upang ireport ang paglabag na ito sa kanilang polisiya.
“The account name has been changed to @congresstita and it still continues to spread false information.”
Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang Kamara sa otoridad upang mahuli ang nasa likod ng account.
“We shall prosecute the perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law.
The Philippine government is ensuring that the public shall receive only accurate and relevant information on its efforts against COVID-19. Let us be vigilant and consider information only from verified and authentic sources.”
