PINAYAGAN ng Department of Health ang tatlong ospital na magsagawa ng testing para sa coronavirus disease 2019.
Ayon kay DoH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire pinayagan nang mag-COVID-19 testing ang St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City at Global City at Lung Center of the Philippines sa Quezon City.Ito ay dagdag sa limang sub-national laboratories na nauna ng pinayagan ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine.
Ang mga sub-national labs ay nakakapagproseso ng 200 samples kada araw samantalang ang RITM ay kayang magproseso ng 900-1,000.
May 40 pribado at pampublikong ospital at free-standing molecular biology laboratories na nais makapagsagawa ng COVID-19 testing. Ang kanilang kakayanan ay ia-assess ng DoH.
