Doktor arestado sa pagbebenta ng overpriced na thermal scanner

INARESTO ng National Bureau of Investigation-Special Action Unit Martes ang isang doktor na nagbebenta umano ng overpriced thermal scanner na donasyon sa isang asosasyon na kanyang kinakatawan.

Ibinebenta umano ni Dr. Cedric John de Castro ang thermal scanner sa halagang P9,500 samantalang ang retail price nito ay P800-P1,500 lamang.

“De Castro was selling a total of 150 pieces thermal scanners for P1.2 million. The suggested retail price for thermal scanners ranges from P800 to P1500 in the market,” saad ng pahayag ng Department of Justice.

Si De Castro ay chapter president umano ng Lions Club chapter sa New Manila, Quezon City at ang mga ibinebenta nitong thermal scanner ay donasyon sa nabanggit na non-governmental association.

Si De Castro ay mahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Price Act.
