McDo may P500M ayuda para sa empleyado, komunidad

NANGAKO ang McDonald’s Philippines na hindi nito pababayaan ang mga empleyado habang umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon.

Maglalabas ang fast food restaurant ng P500 milyon para tulungan ang mga manggagawa nitong apektado ng COVID-19 pandemic, ayon kay Golden Arches Development Corporation owner Dr. George T. Yang.

Susuweldo pa rin ang restaurant crew, managers at head office employees sa buong panahon ng quarantine pumasok man sila sa trabaho o hindi.

Makatatanggap naman ng special premium pay package ang crew at managers na papasok sa mga piling branches na mananatiling bukas sa enhanced quarantine areas.

Bibigyan sila ng care kits gaya ng face masks, alcohol at vitamins upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga empleyado kasabay ng probisyon para sa premium pay.

Sinabi pa ng McDo sa inilabas na media advisory na magpapatuloy ang corporate social responsibility nito lalo’t mas kailangan ng mga komunidad ang tulong sa panahon ng coronavirus crisis.

“For communities: the fund covers food to be donated by the company to front liners like medical health workers, LGU workers, NGO volunteers, and the marginalized sector who are challenged to have access to food during this time.”
