Empleyado ng multinational finance firm sa Taguig nagpositibo sa COVID-19
KINUMPIRMA ng multinational finance at consultancy firm na Deloitte Philippines na nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) ang isa sa mga empleyado nito.
“We can confirm that a colleague in our Deloitte Philippines office has tested positive for COVID-19),” sabi ng Deloitte na nakabase sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
“The colleague is currently in hospital receiving treatment and further tests, and Deloitte is supporting the colleague and family and every way we can,” ayon pa sa Doloitte.
Hindi naman malinaw kung ang pasyente ay isa sa dalawang bagong kaso ng COVID-19 na naunang inihayag ng Department of Health (DOH).
“Deloitte Philippines continues to comply with the instructions and directions from the Department of Health. All necessary actions were promptly taken to inform those who might have come into contact with the colleague for the appropriate checks and provide any possible form of support,” dagdag pa nito.
Nitong Biyernes, sinabi ng DOH na dalawang Pinoy ang bagong kaso ng COVID-19, kung saan nagbiyahe sa Japan at ang isa ay walang kasaysayan ng pagtungo sa ibang bansa.
Ang pangalawang pasyente ay ang unang kaso ng local transmission sa bansa.
