Mga Pinoy ililikas mula sa NCoV-infected areas sa China

BALAK ilikas ng pamahalaan ang mga Pilipinong nasa mga bahagi ng China na tinamaan ng 2019 novel Coronavirus (2019-NCoV).

Inihayag ni Defense Secretary at National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council chairman Delfin Lorenzana ang plano matapos ianunsyo ng gobyerno ang unang kumpirmadong kaso ng 2019-NCoV sa Pilipinas.

“We are preparing for evacuation and quarantine… We will plane them in on a chartered flight. That’s the plan,” sabi ni Lorenzana sa Bandera.

Ayon sa kalihim, naghahanap pa ang gobyerno ng mga gusali kung saan maaaring i-quarantine muna ang mga uuwing Pilipino.

“We looking for an area with buildings which can be remodeled into a seclusion area.”

Sinabi naman ni NDRRMC executive director Ricardo Jalad na inaantabayanan din ng ahensiya ang pulong ng inter-agency task force na pamumunuan ng Department of Health, sa Biyernes.

“Whole of government approach ang gagawing actions,” aniya.

Una dito, inihayag ni NDRRMC spokesman Mark Timbal na nakahanda lahat ng kanilang member-agencies na sumuporta sa mga hakbang na irerekomenda ng DOH para mapigilan ang pagkalat pa ng 2019-NCoV sa bansa.

“The NDRRMC will follow the lead of DOH being the subject matter expert on this concern. Just like what was done in the dengue outbreak and other previous health emergencies,” aniya pa.
