MMDA magsasagawa ng dry run ng traffic plan para sa SEA Games sa Nov. 14

MAGSASAGAWA ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ng dry run sa inihandang traffic plan para sa 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games sa kahabaan ng Edsa at iba pang pangunahing kalsada.

Sa isang advisory, sinabi ng MMDA na para sa isasagawang dry run, manggagaling ang mga convoy sa iba’t ibang hotel sa loob ng Metro Manila at iba pang bahagi ng Southern Luzon, Metro Manila, Clark, at Subic.

“A stop-and-go traffic scheme will be implemented during the simulation exercise,” sabi ni MMDA.

Gagamitin ang yellow lane sa Edsa ng mga convoy patungo sa Philippine Arena, kung saan gagawin ang opening ceremony ng SEA Games 2019.

Nauna nang tinukoy ng MMDA ang mga traffic chokepoints at mga lugar kung saan mararanasan ang trapik dahil sa SEA Games.

Isasagawa ang SEA Games sa bansa mula Nobyembre 30 hanggang Disyembre 11.

“Thousands of athletes, sports officials, coaches, spectators are expected to gather at sports and non-sports venues within the metropolis during the 12-day event,” sabi ng MMDA.
