Not only is this good tidings para sa mga Noranians but also the philatelists (stamp collectors), na ewan kung ganoon pa rin kaaligaga mounting them all in volumes of albums tulad noong panahon namin.

The two others bear solely her face.

Sa dalawang face-bearing stamps, one shows Ate Guy behind the theatre curtains habang nagtatanghal while the other features her in one of the serious scenes from Ishmael Bernal’s classic Himala bilang si Elsa na isang faith healer.

All four Nora’s face-bearing variations share equal space with the façade of the Post Office building in Manila fronting the once-dimly lit plaza na may fountain as centerpiece.

No less than a rabid Noranian ang siyang nagdisenyo ng mga selyo priced at P17 each.

Let’s face it, with the advent of social media na mas pinabibilis at pinadadali ang komunikasyon, stamps have become a thing of a forgotten past. Pero sa tanggapin din natin o hindi, iba pa rin ang mga selyadong paraan ng pakikipag-ugnayan as these serve as worth-keeping mementos.

Aaminin naming dismayado kami that “Isa Pang Bahaghari” never made it to the remaining four na umaasang mapapabilang sa official Magic 8 entries ng Metro Manila Film Festival.

To our mind, this is the first time a Nora Aunor movie got snubbed by the MMFF gayong noong dekada otsenta’y “suki” si Ate Guy ng taunang event (so was Ate Vi).

Kesehodang ikompromiso na ang kalidad ng pelikula, sorry but this hasn’t been the way the MMFF operates sa mga ilang sunud-sunod na taon.
