UMAAPAW ang confidence ni Alden Richards nang rumampa sa red carpet ng 14th Seoul International Drama Awards nu’ng Miyerkoles na ginanap sa Grand Peace Hall ng Kyunghee University.
Isa sa honorees si Alden sa nasabing event at binigyan ng Asian Star Prize dahil sa performance niya sa Lenten drama na The Journey mula sa APT Entertainment na napanood sa GMA 7.
Nagbigay rin ng speech ang Pambansang Bae matapos tanggapin ang award. Narito ang bahagi ng kanyang thank you message.
“As a Filipino, I am very humbled and grateful to be recognized in the international scene, along with so many amazing and talented artists here tonight.
“This award is extra special because it comes at a time when we are celebrating 70 years of friendship between the Philippines and South Korea.”
Pinasalamatan din niya ang Seoul Drama Awards at Korean Broadcasters Association. “It’s always our hope to make people happy and inspire them with our passion,” saad pa ng Pambansang Bae.
Ang nasabing recognition ay sumisimbolo rin sa dedication at pagmamahal ni Alden sa kanyang craft, “Masayang-masaya ako. Sobrang happy po ako sa mga nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon. Hindi ko na alam kung paanong pagsasaya pa ang gagawin.
From Seoul, back to Divisoria si Alden para sa taping ng upcoming Kapuso series na The Gift. Magiging part din siya ng isa pang fashion for a cause bilang bahagi ng collaboration nila ng designer na si Avel Bacudio.
Take note, sa awards night na ‘yon, hindi nagpadaig si Alden pagdating sa kaguwapuhan ng ilang foreign celebrities na binigyan din ng recognition, huh!
