P500 unconditional cash transfer sa mahihirap na pamilya isinulong
MULA P200, nais ni House Deputy Speaker Michael Romero na itaas sa P500 ang buwanang unconditional cash transfer na natatanggap ng 7.4 milyong mahihirap na pamilya.
Ayon kay Romero lubhang maliit ang P200 social protection program na ibinibigay ng gobyerno para mabawasan ang epekto sa mga mahihirap ng dagdag buwis sa ilalim ng Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.
“This House bill seeks to foster an accelerated program management scheme which will focus on the payroll generation, beneficiary validation and the release of more funds to the beneficiaries of the UCT program,” dagdag pa ni Romero.
Sa ilalim ng 2020 national budget ay itataas ang UCT sa P300.
“Increasing the amount of social subsidy to P500 is more realistic in achieving the noble goals of the UCT,” dagdag pa ng solon.
Maaari umanong kunin ang kakailanganing pondo sa P150 bilyong dagdag na kita kapag naipatupad na ng lubusan ang TRAIN law.
