ERNEST John Obiena

“Obiena’s historic gold medal in pole vault in the Napoli Universiade will stand as one of the greatest individual achievements in sports by the Filipino athletes,” sabi ni TOPS president Ed Andaya ng People’s Tonight.

“Before Obiena, only GM Wesley So managed to capture a gold medal for the country in the 60-year history of the Universiade,” dagdag ni Andaya, na personal na kinober ang kampanya ni So sa Kazan noong 2013.
