QC naglabas ng guidelines sa suspension ng klase

NAGLABAS ng guidelines ang Quezon City government kaugnay ng pagsuspinde o pagkansela ng klase at pasok sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno kapag masama ang panahon.

Sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular No. 1 Series of 2019, ang QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council ang magsasagawa ng Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment kapag may bagyo.

Ang desisyon ng PDRA ay ibabase nito sa ulat ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

Ang maging assessment at evaluation ng PDRA ang magiging batayan ng Office of the Mayor kung sususpendihin ang klase at pasok sa trabaho.

Ang rekomendasyon ng QCDRRM Council ay gagawin nito bago mag-alas-4 ng umaga. Sakaling sumama ang panahon sa kalagitnaan ng araw, ang desisyon ay dapat ilabas bago mag-alas-11 ng umaga.

Mananatili namang epektibo ang automatic suspension na itinada ng Department of Education. Walang pasok sa preschool kapag signal no. 1. Walang pasok sa elementarya at high school kapag signal no. 2.

Ang mga school head naman ang magdedesisyon kung sususpendihin ang klase sa tertiary level.

“Meanwhile, city operations involved in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, search and rescues will proceed regardless of the decision on class or work suspension.”

Iginiit ni Belmonte na tanging ang QC Public Affairs and Information Services Department ang mag-aanunsyo kung suspendido o kanselado ang klase.
