By vetoing the Security of Tenure Bill, short-term workers will remain “endo” workers for the rest of his/her productive years.

Because “endo” workers have no fixed wages and no fixed social protection insurance benefits, forever na silang mahirap. “Endo” workers have no union to defend and support them.

Because of this, “endo” workers might live as informal settlers, eat less nutritious foods and no savings for their emergency needs.

But the workers who worked so hard every day, remain poor and impoverished. Ito po ang buhay ng mga “endo”. Tinatayang nasa 9 to 15 million sila sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao sa manufacturing, restaurants, hotels, electronics, garments, food, agri-business, garments, plastics at agriculture sectors sila nagta trabaho dito sa bansa.
