Misis ng ex-mayor ng Iligan City nawawala; pamilya isantabi ang anggulong kidnapping
ILIGAN CITY —Humingi na ng tulong sa otoridad ang pamilya ni dating Iligan City mayor Franklin M. Quijano para mahanap ang kanyang misis na si Salma Theresa Gerona-Quijano, na nawawala simula pa noong Hunyo 27.
Iniulat ng pamilya ang insidente noong Martes, Hulyo 2.
Kasalukuyang Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of the Philippine Veterans Investment Development Corporation (Phividec) Industrial Authority si Franklin.
Huling nakita si Salma sa kanilang bahay sa Purok 3-A, Dao, Barangay Hinaplanon ganap na alas-10:30 ng umaga noong Hunyo 27.
“She brought few pieces of her clothes and personal things, including a bank passbook, but there was no movement in her account when we had it checked at the bank,” sabi ni Roberto Quijano.
Idinagdag ni Quijano na naiwan din ang cellphone ni Salma sa bahay.
“We are ruling out the possibility that she has been abducted because we cannot see indications. We reviewed CCTV footage, we could not see any commotion during the time she was at home,” sabi ni Quijano.
