LRT
SINABI ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) na epektibo sa Hulyo 29, mas maaga na ang operasyon ng Light Rail Transit-1 (LRT-1), bagamat mas pinaaga rin ang pagsasara ng biyahe nito para bigyang daan ang system upgrade at pagsasaayos ng serbisyo ng train service.
Idinagdag ng LRMC na simula Hulyo 29, ang huling biyahe ng tren mula Baclaran (northbound) ay 9:30 gabi, samantalang alas-9:45 gabi naman ang last trip mula Roosevelt (southbound) araw-araw.
Sinabi ng LRMC na alas-4:30 ng umaga naman ang simula ng biyahe ng mga trein ng LRT1 sa northbound at southbound.
“The LRT-1 rehabilitation will include replacement of auxiliary power, train control and monitoring system,” sabi ni LRMC Operations Director Bobby San Jose.
“We want to give our commuters a quality transportation that they deserve. And to be able to provide them a safe, reliable, efficient, and comfortable journey, we need to update and upgrade our signalling system,” ayon pa kay San Jose.
Inaasahang makukumpleto ang rehabilitasyon ng LRT1 sa Oktubre 20.
