MATAPOS ang lindol noong Lunes, tatlo sa 275 tulay na ininspeksyon ng Department of Public Works and Highways ang nakitaan ang minor defects.
Ang mga ito ay ang Guadalupe Bridge sa Makati City na mayroong mga bitak sa girder; at ang Tinejeros at Tanza Bridge sa Malabon City na mayroong mga bitak sa railings.
Ayon kay DPWH Sec. Mark Villar ang Guadalupe Bridge ay sasailalim sa retrofitting sa ilalim ng Unified Project Management Office ng ahensya.
Ang Tanza Bridge ay sasailalim naman sa second stage ng inspection. Hindi naman kailangan ng Tinejeros Bridge ng agarang pagkumpuni dahil hindi sumasalo ng bigat ng dumaraan ang railings.
Mayroong 53 gusali ng paaralan sa Metro Manila ang nakitaan ng minor defects karamihan ay bitak sa pader, poste at kisame. Tatlo sa mga ito ang inirekomenda na isailalim sa structural evaluation.
“We are working closely with other national government agencies and stakeholders to ensure that our disaster preparedness, response, and rehabilitation programs are efficient,” ani Villar.
Nananatili namang sarado ang Emilio Aguinaldo College sa UN Ave., Manila, matapos umano itong tumagilid.
