Julia ‘nakahinga’, nahanap ang sarili sa Mexico

Ervin Santiago - March 11, 2019 - 12:20 PM

SA edad na 22, nakapagpatayo na ng kanyang dream house si Julia Barretto. Aniya, napakamahal daw pala ng pagpapagawa ng bahay.

Nasa 85% na ang natatapos sa ipinatatayo niyang bahay at habang tumatagal ay pataas daw nang pataas ang budget niya, “Pero you know, at the end of the day, it’s an investment and it will be good in the long run.”

“‘Yan ang first investment ko, na lot. Actually dapat after ng debut, magpapatayo na ako ng house, but medyo nawala ako sa focus after nu’ng debut ko.

“So hindi na natuloy, and then one day when everything was okay again, my mom reminded me na I have a lot, and maybe puwede na kami magpatayo, so it was her idea,” lahad ni Julia sa birthday celebration niya sa Magandang Buhay recently.

Ikinuwento rin ni Julia kung bakit bigla siyang nagbakasyon sa Mexico last month at kung saan nanggaling ang hugot niyang, “I cried nonstop for a while because I knew I was getting out of my comfort zone.”

“That was my choice, and I knew na gusto kong mapag-isa muna. Although kasama ko yung pinsan kong babae, it gave me more time to really reflect and breathe, yun ang pinaka-favorite na term ko sa buong trip, yung ‘huminga,’ yung mahanap yung sarili,” esplika ng girlfriend ni Joshua Garcia.

Sinalubong ng aktres ang kanyang 22nd birthday last Saturday with an Amalfi Coast-inspired dinner sa kanilang bahay.

Siyempre naroon si Joshua, ang mga friends niyang sina Maymay Entrata, Erich Gonzales, Janella Salvador, Ina Raymundo, Maris Racal at marami pang iba.
