ISANG malaking pag-asa ang ibinigay ng balita na gumaling sa HIV ang isang pasyente sa London sa pamamagitan ng gene therapy.
Ayon kay Kabayan Rep. Ron Salo sa 2020 ay dapat bigyan ng mas malaking budget ang kampanya ng gobyerno laban sa HIV upang mas marami ang matulungan.
Kung maaari ay dapat umanong maglaan din ng pondo para sa HIV-AIDS research.
“Filipino scientists have what it takes to contribute to the search for cures and remedies for people living with HIV-AIDS,” ani Salo. “I hope more Pinoys will choose health profession careers and then opt to devote part or all of their professional time to AIDS and related research. We need more scientists and health professionals doing medical research.”
May bagong batas para mas matutukan ang mga kaso ng HIV-AIDS sa bansa.
