KAABANG-abang ang mangyayari ngayon sa Senado as our senators will determine today the fate of anti-Endo bill.
The new anti-Endo bill, if passed, will not absolutely ban contractualization but will reverse the trend.
Right now, the trend is 98 percent are endo or contractual workers in many companies and only 2 percent are regular and directly hired by principal employers.
Under this bill, it is hoped that there will be 98 percent regular workers and 2 percent contractuals.
So very crucial ang pagtalakay ng mga senador today dahil magre-recess na sila for the election period.
This is the farthest that the bill has gone in the past 30-year struggle of labor groups para ma-address ang short-term contractualization job scheme.
So it will be a make or break for Endo at Senate today. Let us cross our fingers and hope for the best, guys!
