GIGIL na gigil ang international singer na si Lea Salonga nang makita ang persons with disability (PWD) ramp ng isang business establishment.
Hindi napigilan ni Lea ang mabwisit nang bumalandra sa kanyang paningin ang nasabing PWD ramp kaya agad niya itong ibinandera sa Facebook. Aniya, “Para lang puwedeng sabihing may rampa. Haist!”
Makikita sa litrato ang sobrang tarik na rampa papasok sa tila restaurant o coffee shop na delikado sa mga PWD na gagamit nito.
Inuutusan ang bawat establisimyento na sundin ng Batasang Pambansa 344 o ang “An Act to Enhance the Mobility of Disabled Persons by Requiring Certain Buildings, Institutions, Establishments and Public Utilities to install Facilities and Other Devices.”
Ngunit base sa litratong ipinost ni Lea mukhang hindi pinag-isipan ng management ang paglalagay ng rampa sa kanilang building.
Reaksyon ng kaibigan ni Lea na si Jeffry John Imutan, “Lea, Ibang level ng PWD friendly bansa natin. hahahaha ctto.”
Tugon naman ng Broadway star, “No, no, a thousand times, no. Whoever was in charge of that ramp needs to be taken out and shot.”
