Palasyo tiniyak na may makakasuhan sa Dengvaxia mess
TINIYAK ng Palasyo na makakasuhan ang mga opisyal at dating opisyal ng gobyerno at iba pang sangkot sa kontrobersiyal na Dengvaxia.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na patuloy na nagmomonitor si Pangulong Duterte kaugnay ng isyu.
“The President is monitoring the issues surrounding the anti-dengue vaccine called Dengvaxia. He hears all the calls for justice of families of children whose deaths are reportedly caused by the said vaccine,” sabi no Panelo.
Idinagdag ni Panelo na inaasahang maglalabas ng desisyon ang Department of Justice (DOJ) sa pamumuno ni Secretary Menardo Guevarra bago matapos ang buwan
“The Executive branch has taken forceful action, with the Department of Justice (DOJ) taking the lead and is expected to come up with a resolution before the end of the month,” dagdag ni Panelo.
Ito’y sa harap naman ng imbestigasyon na isinasagawa ng DOJ matapos namang isisi sa Dengvaxia ang pagkamatay ng mga batang naturukan ng anti-dengue vaccine.
“Appropriate charges will be lodged and pursued against government officials and private individuals found responsible by the DOJ for this failed health program for children,” ayon pa kay Panelo.
